Ash Butters grew up in Dubai, UAE. She attended school in London for a year as an art student. She finished up her schooling in NYC at Parsons the New School of Design, graduating with a degree in Illustration. After New York, she moved down to Florida to study the science side of art. She attended Full Sail University and received her masters degree in game design with a focus on UX research and UI Design.
During her studies at Full Sail she started her own tattoo journey as a client. She saw confidence in herself and her friends as they started to decorate their own bodies with tattoos. Ash wanted to be a part of that, she wanted to create a confidence in complete strangers through the use of her art.
Ash enjoys tattooing characters from games especially Pokemon and other classic games from the 90s. Her goal in her work is to create a safe, comfortable and enjoyable time with her clients.
